A native of California, I have been an Arizona resident for the past 30 years. In those 30 years I have seen the valley change drastically. Starting in the field of Architectural Design in 1988, I had the opportunity to be at the fore front of this great change. Prior to starting William D. Down Associates, I worked in the offices of Alan Linhart Associates and Gordon Jones Studios, whose main focus was high end Residential Architecture. I took every opportunity to learn and develop my own design skills from these excellent designers, and the many interesting and exciting projects I was able to work on with them.

Since starting William D. Down Associates in 1997, I have done many projects throughout the valley including high end residential developments such as Estancia, Troon, Desert Mountain, and Mirabella. I have also done projects in Northern Arizona, California, and Washington. I have met and worked for many wonderful clients from all over the country, from Seattle to Tampa Bay and many places in between.

My approach or design philosophy is to listen to what the client really wants and to mold it into a workable design. I am here to guide you from your ideas to a beautiful new home.
